The Architecture Gallery opens its doors with an exhibition where its founder Selçuk Avcı’s realm of thoughts will be shared. Selçuk Avcı’s experiences, communication network, issues that form the principles of his architecture, passions, desires, and obsessions, starting from his architecture education at Bath University and spread over a wide geographical area—including especially UK, Slovenia, and Turkey—will enable the audience to feel like a detective examining an analysis panel. It will try to offer an environment that allows people to have experiences, where they can sometimes become participants rather than spectators. In a sense, the door to the architect’s kitchen will be opened. This exhibition aims to reflect a life path that is not frozen, but rather a continuum, that is layered by articulation, and may also contain variations—just like the world of the person it deals with.
